Dee Why Grand Shopping Centre

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Dee Why Grand Shopping Centre opened its doors in 2010 and has steadily established itself as the shopping destination for fresh food and convenience on the Northern Beaches. The marketing approach has been to build brand awareness via local advertising including print, radio, cinema and buses while also promoting individual retailers. Wide-ranging activities have included ongoing incentre events and promotions along with establishing community support via local sponsorship programmes. The combined initiatives have resulted in building awareness among the core catchment, which has seen a consistent increase in the flow of traffic through the centre.

“Caroline Johns from Raw Vision Marketing has been our Marketing Consultant for Dee Why Grand Shopping Centre for a number of years. Caroline has been responsible for developing the marketing program for the centre and organising all promotional activities, competitions, events and in-centre activations. She has also organised all community sponsorship programmes and is constantly developing new and fresh ideas for the shopping centre and its retailers. She is responsible for the creative direction, activations, marketing programs, liaising with individual retailers as well as managing the budget. She is wonderful to work with, efficient, reliable and is always sourcing fresh, new creative ideas.”
